Vichy sweet boxes contain the famous "pastilles de Vichy". These pastils are made from sugar and from mineral salts found in the water of Vichy (a town in the Auvergne region of France). They were created in 1825.
I think these boxes are very beautiful. I think it is very interesting to imagine history through objects of the past.
